Parklane West Rehabilitation in San Antonio, TX is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab program serving geriatric clients. You will screen, evaluate, and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and provide discharge summaries.

License as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required; all experience levels are welcome. We offer a flexible PRN schedule and a values-driven team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Evaluate outcomes and modify services based on patient progress and referrals.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers about speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in line with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Parklane West Rehabilitation in San Antonio, TX is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRNSpeech-Language Pathologistfor our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications:

Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
