Flagship Therapy in El Paso, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program at Los Arcos Del Norte Care Center. This is a full-time position located in El Paso, TX.

As a Physical Therapist, you will screen and evaluate patients, plan and implement rehabilitation, and provide skilled interventions for geriatric patients in a supportive team environment with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation plans and provide skilled, medically necessary interventions.
• Assist with ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us at Los Arcos del Norte Care Center in El Paso, TX. We offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
