Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Speech Therapists to provide home-based Early Intervention services for infants, toddlers, and families across California.

Join a multidisciplinary team and deliver services in families' homes and communities, following IFSPs and using parent coaching; flexible scheduling and mileage reimbursement are available, with benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license is required.
• Pediatric experience preferred (Early Intervention experience preferred).
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills are required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.
