Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents in our senior living communities. You will establish goals, design evidence-based programs, and work within a coordinated team to optimize communication, swallowing, and cognitive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Masters degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement Speech Pathology treatment programs.
• Provide rehabilitative services as part of a coordinated care team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to align plan of care.
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized sessions.

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
