Job description

Position Type: Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year

Novo Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a K–12 school setting in Denton, Maryland. The SLP will support students with communication disorders that impact educational performance and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve academic and developmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and Medicaid billing records as required
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered
• Maryland Department of Education certification or eligibility
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
