Job summary

Synaptic Pediatric Therapies, LLC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat children with diverse speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication needs. You will develop individualized plans of care and collaborate with families to maximize carryover.

You’ll stay current with evidence-based practices, maintain thorough documentation, and work within a multidisciplinary team. A flexible schedule and growth opportunities support your professional journey.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (SLP).
  • Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certification (or Clinical Fellow).
  • Collaborative team player with OTs and fellow SLPs.
  • Experience with articulation, fluency, swallowing, and AAC devices preferred.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat children and young adults with diverse speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication needs.

  • Maintain detailed documentation while adhering to all licensure and certification requirements.
Who You Are as an SLP
  • A Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • A valid Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certification (or are a Clinical Fellow eager to grow).
  • A collaborative spirit, thriving in a team setting alongside occupational therapists and fellow SLPs.
  • Experience (or a passion to gain experience!) with a wide variety of conditions, including articulation, fluency, swallowing, and AAC devices.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
