Job summary

Synaptic Pediatric Therapies in Texas is seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (new grads and experienced) to empower children to communicate and engage with their world.

You will evaluate and treat diverse speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication needs, develop individualized goals, partner with families, and stay current with evidence-based practices in a supportive, mentorship-driven team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in CSD required.
  • Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certification or CFY encouraged.
  • Collaborative team player with families and other therapists.
  • Experience with articulation, fluency, swallowing and AAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat children and young adults with diverse speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication needs.
  • Develop individualized Plans of Care with meaningful short- and long-term goals tailored to each child’s unique journey.
  • Collaborate with families to maximize skill carryover and provide essential resources.

Who You Are
  • A Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • A valid Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certification (or are a Clinical Fellow eager to grow).
  • A collaborative spirit, thriving in a team setting alongside occupational therapists and fellow SLPs.
  • Experience (or a passion to gain experience!) with a wide variety of conditions, including articulation, fluency, swallowing, and AAC devices.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
