Job summary

American Autism & Rehabilitation Center in Daphne, Alabama is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY) to join our outpatient pediatric therapy team. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team of SLPs, OTs, PTs, and ABA professionals to support infants through young adults with communication, feeding, and language needs. Alabama licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP are preferred; CFY welcome.

Qualifications

• Alabama SLP licensure current or eligible
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY welcome
• Experience with pediatric populations and autism spectrum-related needs preferred
• AAC experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric speech-language pathology services in outpatient settings
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OT, PT, ABA professionals
• Assess and treat infants, toddlers, children, teens, and young adults
• Document patient progress and coordinate care with families
• Maintain licensure and professional credentials

American Autism & Rehabilitation Center (AARC) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY) to join our growing outpatient pediatric therapy team in Daphne, Alabama. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available.

Through a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach, our specially trained pediatric therapists serve individuals with a wide range of congenital, developmental, and acquired neurological conditions. Our caseload includes individuals with:

• Cerebral palsy
• Down syndrome and other genetic conditions
• Communication and language disorders
• Feeding and swallowing disorders
• Spasticity and other neurological conditions
• Multiple disabilities and behavioral challenges

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

• Current or eligible Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome and encouraged to apply
• AAC experience preferred
• Two years of pediatric experience preferredExperience working with children with autism, multiple disabilities, and/or behavioral challenges preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of community resources and supports
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Strong communication, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care
