Job summary

Little Friends, Inc. is seeking a part-time Speech Language Therapist for its outpatient clinic in Warrenville, Illinois. Join our multi-disciplinary team and play a vital role in the Foundations Therapeutic Program designed to help children build essential skills.

Your responsibilities include developing treatment plans, assessing clients' needs, writing reports, and maintaining communication with parents and other professionals. An IL PEL, IDFPR license, and advanced degree in Speech and Language Pathology are required.

Job description

Little Friends Center for Autism is looking for a part-time Speech Language Therapist to join their outpatient clinic multi-disciplinary team as a key member of the Foundations Therapeutic Program.

The Foundations Therapeutic Program helps children build the skills, confidence, and connections they need for what comes next.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans for referred clients.
• Assessing the speech and language needs of referred clients and writing reports with recommendations.
• Writing goals ensuring the treatment plan is appropriate and current and documenting progress using SOAP notes.
• Consulting with parents/guardians to integrate therapy plans into the home environment.
• Communicating with schools, doctors, or other therapists when needed to obtain or give information per parental requests.
• Providing 6‑month progress summaries on all clients in the caseload.

Hours

Beginning August 2026

9am - 12pm

Monday - Friday

Option to add‑on afternoon hours

Requirements
