Responsibilities

• Address autism, ADHD, and behavioral challenges.
• Support developmental and neurodevelopmental delays.
• Treat articulation disorders and stuttering.
• Address complications from prematurity.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Pediatrics Outpatient

Outpatient Therapy Clinic

13+ Week Contract | Day Shift - 4x10s (7:45am - 6pm)

Position Overview

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a pediatric outpatient setting. This role focuses on treating children with autism, developmental delays, and speech/language disorders in a collaborative, family-centered environment.

First-time travelers will NOT be considered

Candidates must be comfortable working with children with autism and their families

Start date will be ~8 weeks from offer due to credentialing requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment for pediatric patients with speech, language, and developmental disorders
• Manage a caseload of ~8 patients/day
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans and therapy techniques
• Autism, ADHD, and behavioral challenges
• Developmental and neurodevelopmental delays
• Articulation disorders and stuttering
• Complications from prematurity

Required Skills

• Pediatric outpatient experience (REQUIRED)
• Experience with autism, developmental delays, and language disorders
• Proficiency with adaptive communication devices and communication boards
• Strong dysphagia/feeding therapy skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in children’s hospitals, home health, or pediatric rehab
• Dysphagia and feeding therapy experience
• Augmentative/alternative communication (AAC)
