Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for a school setting in Dallas, GA. In this role, you’ll administer evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans, provide speech and language services, monitor progress, and collaborate with teams to support student outcomes.

We offer up to $52/hour, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, 401(k) with company match, licensure/CEU reimbursement, mileage between sites, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia SLP license or eligible PCE provisional license.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Georgia PSC certification required for school placement.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to assigned students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and families to support student communication.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to service recommendations.
• Maintain confidential student records per regulations.
• Support a range of student communication needs across school settings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support student success.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Active (or eligible) Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license or appropriate PCE provisional license
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited college or university
• Active (or eligible) Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification, as required for the school-based assignment
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• School-based experience preferred, not required
