Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) for a K–12 school setting in Mountain City, Tennessee. In this role, you’ll conduct evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to help students communicate more effectively.

This position offers competitive pay up to $50/hour, a steady school-year schedule, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and licensure/CEU

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee SLP license or eligibility for Tennessee Clinical Fellow provisional licensure.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Eligible for Tennessee school-based credentialing/licensure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide school‑based SLP services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students’ communication skills development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.

Hello, Speech Language Pathologists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) for a K–12 school setting in Mountain City, Tennessee. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. This is a great fit for both experienced school‑based SLPs and those transitioning into schools.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Eligible for appropriate Tennessee school‑based credentialing/licensure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• School‑based experience preferred, not required
