Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (CCC-SLP).
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP).
• Experience with older adults and communication/swallowing disorders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct comprehensive assessments, and provide evidence-based therapy interventions. Your expertise will be essential in helping our patients overcome communication and swallowing disorders, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' communication and swallowing abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions
• Monitor and document resident progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
