Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a New Bern, NC school-based position. You will provide speech-language therapy, conduct assessments, and develop IEP goals for students.

This full-time role supports both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows, with strong mentorship and on-site collaboration. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Licensure from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• Eligibility for North Carolina licensure as a speech-language pathologist through the Department of Public Instruction.
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
