Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based role in Columbia, SC. You will provide speech-language therapy to students in a K-12 setting, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families to ensure skill carryover.

Preferred candidates hold SC licensure or the ability to obtain it, a Master’s in CSD, and are comfortable working in a school environment. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules are offered, with benefits and professional expense

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD).
• South Carolina SLP license or ability to obtain.
• South Carolina Education Certification or willingness to obtain.
• CFs encouraged to apply.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
