Job summary

ISO Workforce Alliance in Chicago, IL, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year to join a welcoming, student-focused charter school community. Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Illinois PEL with School Support Personnel endorsement.
  • Current Illinois SLP license.
  • CCC-SLP preferred (CFs considered).
  • School-based experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and interpret assessment results.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
  • Provide individual and small-group therapy services.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to support communication goals across settings.
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports per regulations.
  • Recommend classroom accommodations and evidence-based strategies.
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language needs.

Position Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide speech and language evaluations, therapy services, consultation, and collaboration to help students develop the communication skills necessary for academic and social success. The SLP will work closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans that support student growth.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and interpret assessment results.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
  • Provide individual and small-group therapy services.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to support communication goals across educational settings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Recommend classroom accommodations and evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Support students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language needs.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Support Personnel endorsement.
  • Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs may be considered depending on experience).
  • School-based experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
