Job summary

SchoolHouse Staffing is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for Oak Lawn, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, contract position offers $50–$60 per hour based on experience with weekly direct deposit pay and health insurance options.

You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP-aligned therapy plans, and provide direct services in multiple settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and participating in IEP meetings and progress monitoring to support

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Illinois PEL with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement or eligibility.
• Illinois SLP License if applicable; CCC-SLP preferred.
• CFY candidates encouraged depending on district requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students.
• Develop and implement IEP-aligned therapy plans.
• Provide direct SLP services in various settings (individual, small group, classroom).
• Collaborate with teachers, special ed staff, psychologists, OT/PT, families.
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, eligibility determinations.
• Maintain documentation, therapy notes, progress reports, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with each student's IEP goals.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual, small-group, and classroom settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and eligibility determinations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, progress reports, and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, pragmatic language, and augmentative communication needs.
• Promote communication strategies that enhance classroom participation and student success.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (if applicable).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply if district requirements allow.
• Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
