Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication impairments. You will establish goals and implement therapy within a holistic team approach.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligible to obtain before start.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP programs based on full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate patient plans of care.
• Treat residents one-on-one through private sessions using functional-based approaches.
• Build relationships with seniors and collaborate with rehabilitation therapists.

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patient plans of care
• Treat residents one-on-one through private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach
• Build relationships with senior patients and collaborate with rehabilitation therapists

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
