Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based role in Carlsbad, NM. You will assess, plan, and deliver direct therapy to K-12 students, collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

Must hold a current SLP license (or be eligible to obtain) and have TB clearance. Prior school-based experience and knowledge of evidence-based practices are preferred. CEU/license reimbursement and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Must have current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain).
  • TB clearance.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).
