Job summary

Point Quest is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based role in Corpus Christi, TX. You will provide direct therapy to K-12 students, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and align services with IEP goals.

Responsibilities include completing IEPs, collaborating with teachers and families, and maintaining accurate documentation. Licensing, background clearances, and strong communication are essential; SLPAs supervision is included where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formal assessments and determine eligibility and functioning level.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide direct speech therapy aligned with IEP goals.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs and participate in reviews.
  • Consult with teachers and families to support skill generalization.
  • Maintain therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs as applicable.

You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education.
