Position Overview
This full-time position involves providing direct patient care as a Speech‑Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evaluations and develop treatment plans to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities within patients’ limitations.
- Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members, document services accurately, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Supervise clinical staff, assist in professional development, and contribute to a positive facility culture.
- Ensure safety by maintaining safe work practices and equipment.
Qualifications
Master’s degree, CCC‑SLP, California license or license candidacy, and 2-3 years of rehabilitation experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation ranges from $55.00 to $65.00 per hour, with benefits including health insurance. The role requires in‑person work, approximately 40 hours per week.
