Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for Buckeye, AZ (on-site) with a 4-day school week plan for the 2026-2027 year. The role pays $55.00–$57.00 per hour, with responsibilities including direct and consultative services, IEP development, assessments, and collaboration with teachers and families.

The ideal candidate holds AZ SLP certification, MA in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC, and an AZ licensure, plus required fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Arizona Standard Speech-Language Certification is required.
• MA in Speech/Language Pathology is required.
• CCC (ASHA) certification is required.
• AZ SLP licensure is required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Observe, describe, and refer students with speech/language impairments.
• Screen, assess, diagnose speech, voice, and language disorders; report results.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for eligible students.
• Refer to community agencies and specialists as needed.
• Provide individualized therapy programs and collaborate with teachers.
• Support parents and families with information and guidance.
• Maintain thorough records for therapy and services.
• Stay current with developments in the field.
• Maintain rapport with students, staff, and community.
• Uphold ethical behavior and confidentiality.

Speech Language Pathologist
(4 Day School Week) 2026-2027

JOB GOAL
To provide direct or consultative services to students with identified disabilities related to speech and/or language in order to derive full benefit from the district's educational programs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

1. Arizona Standard Speech-Language Certification
2. MA in Speech/Language Pathology
3. Certification of Clinical Competence
4. Arizona Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist Licensure
5. Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

1. Assists and guides teachers in observing, describing, and referring students with suspected and identified speech and language impairments.
2. Conducts a thorough screening, assessment and diagnosis of speech, voice, and language impairments; interprets results to parents and teachers and writes appropriate recommendations and reports.
3. Develops, implements, and monitors IEPs for students eligible for speech and language services.
4. Assists in proper referrals of individuals to agencies and specialists in the community, as
5. Provides appropriate individualized programs of therapy to meet individual student's needs and correct existing speech and/or language dysfunction.
6. Collaborates with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement therapy by suggestions for the student's daily activities.
7. Provides information and support to parents and families when appropriate.
8. Provides in-service education and serves as a consultant to teachers and school staff members on topics concerning speech services.
9. Keeps thorough ongoing records for the individual student receiving therapy or other school provided speech services.
10. Participates in professional growth activities and keeps abreast of new developments in the field.
