Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Oregon is seeking a Full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join the Rehabilitation Services team. Job description

We are seeking for a Full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our Rehabilitation Services team who specialize in providing a comprehensive treatment plan that includes specialized programming and an interdisciplinary team approach to help patients return to productive lifestyles.

What you will do:

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will be providing speech therapy services to acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatients in compliance with policies and procedures established by the medical center and/or rehabilitation services department. This includes quality care to individuals and families, participate in the planning implementation and evaluation of quality assurance programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with swallowing disorders OR extensive dysphagia management experience within internship/externship program required.
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure or provisional permit issued by the State of Idaho.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certificate of Clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association preferred.
  • Active membership within ASHA preferred.
  • Previous experience in Acute Care or Rehabilitation preferred.
