Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Rehabilitation Services team, providing speech therapy across acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings with an interdisciplinary approach to restore communication and swallowing abilities.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of swallowing-disorders experience, Idaho licensure or provisional permit, and BLS certification. Preferred credentials include ASHA CCC-SLP and active ASHA membership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with swallowing disorders or extensive dysphagia management during internship/externship.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure or provisional permit issued by the State of Idaho.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatients in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of quality assurance programs.
