Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join the Rehabilitation Services team in Oregon. The role provides speech therapy across acute care, rehab, and outpatient settings, using a comprehensive treatment plan within an interdisciplinary framework.

Responsibilities include ensuring policy-driven care, participating in quality assurance activities, and helping patients return to productive lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with swallowing disorders or extensive dysphagia management during internship/externship.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure or provisional permit issued by the State of Idaho.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.

• Provide speech therapy services to acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient clients in accordance with center policies.
• Participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of quality assurance programs.
• Deliver comprehensive treatment plans with interdisciplinary teamwork to help patients return to productive lifestyles.

We are seeking for a Full time Speech Language Pathologist o join our Rehabilitation Services team who specialize in providing a comprehensive treatment plan that includes specialized programming and an interdisciplinary team approach to help patients return to productive lifestyles.

What you will do:

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will be providing speech therapy services to acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatients in compliance with policies and procedures established by the medical center and/or rehabilitation services department. This includes quality care to individuals and families, participate in the planning implementation and evaluation of quality assurance programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with swallowing disorders OR extensive dysphagia management experience within internship/externship program required.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure or provisional permit issued by the State of Idaho.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association preferred.
• Active membership within ASHA preferred.
• Previous experience in Acute Care or Rehabilitation preferred.
