Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based services in Avondale, AZ. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to support students’ communication and educational access.

Collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams is essential to maximize outcomes. Responsibilities include IEP-compliant documentation, progress notes, and supervision of SLPAs if applicable.

Qualifications

  • Must hold current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of service or be eligible to obtain it.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance required.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities; effective written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with school-based caseloads and educational programs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formal and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and functioning level.
  • Develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide direct speech therapy aligned with IEP goals.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in reviews.
  • Maintain therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs and monitor supervision hours if applicable.
