Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for on-site senior care in Ohio. You will evaluate swallowing and communication disorders, set treatment goals, and create individualized programs as part of a collaborative care team.

The role emphasizes one-on-one sessions, a flexible weekday schedule with no weekends, and opportunities for CEUs, licensure reimbursement, and career advancement within a not-for-profit organization.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain before starting employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement Speech Pathology programs based on full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plan of care
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, functional treatment sessions
• Demonstrate ability to tailor sessions to each patient’s needs

• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
