Job summary

Spurwink is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time position in our Chelsea Day Treatment Program. The role involves screening, evaluation, treatment, and consultation for youth aged 5 to 20 with behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia; providing collaboration and instruction within a multidisciplinary team; and supervising interns/assistants when applicable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders
• Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology required

The position will offer a diverse professional experience including screening, evaluation, treatment, and consultation for youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities, ages 5 to 20.

• Provide consultation, direct instruction, and modeling both in and out of the classroom to develop a total language/communication environment.
• Provide in-service education and/or consultation to clinical and educational personnel concerning communication intervention strategies.
• Supervise assigned speech pathology interns and assistants when applicable.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Communication Disorders and Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology required.
