Job summary

Spurwink is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time position in our Chelsea Day Treatment Program. The role involves screening, evaluation, treatment, and consultation for youth aged 5 to 20 with behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia; providing collaboration and instruction within a multidisciplinary team; and supervising interns/assistants when applicable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders
• Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide consultation, direct instruction, and modeling in classroom and non-classroom settings to develop a language/communication environment.
• Provide in-service education and/or consultation to clinical and educational personnel on communication intervention strategies.
• Supervise assigned speech pathology interns and assistants when applicable.
