Job summary

TPAPT is seeking Grade 1-5 SPED certified coaches to join our dedicated team in Burlingame, CA. You will work one-on-one with students requiring reading, math, and executive function interventions, delivering evidence-based instruction.

The role is contract (1099) with a competitive pay rate of $65–$85 per hour and a reliable weekly schedule. Flexibility includes after-school and weekend sessions to support families' educational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certification as Reading Specialist, Math Specialist or SPED Teacher.
• Experience with neurodivergent learners.
• Evidence-based intervention practices and strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and motivate students.
• Availability for after-school and weekend sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction using evidence-based methods for students with ADD/ADHD, ASD, or executive dysfunction.
• Use assessment tools to identify areas of need for each student.
• Develop and implement personalized learning plans addressing challenges.
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with parents and educators to communicate progress and strategies.
• Create a positive environment to motivate reading goals.
