Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required).
  • Master's degree required for Concurrent Enrollment positions.
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license (CDE).
  • Experience with young special needs students preferred.
  • Experience with diversity of the District community preferred.
  • Live in Colorado permanently.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes individualized lesson plans across subjects, aligning with district standards.
  • Administers and interprets assessments (formal and informal).
  • Supervises and reinforces classroom behavior per policy.
  • Prep lessons and adapt materials to meet diverse needs; communicate clear objectives.
  • Provide daily living assistance and operate adaptive technology as trained; assist with mobility as needed.
  • May participate in extra-duty activities such as coaching or tutoring per agreements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Master's degree (Concurrent Enrollment)
Colorado teaching license (CDE)
Experience with young special needs students
Commitment to equity and inclusive education
