Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is hiring a dedicated teacher to support K-12 students who require additional educational and behavioral supports.

SESI partners with districts to operate in-district classrooms and standalone schools, delivering data-driven instruction and CASE PBIS-based strategies to help each student shine. The role involves assessing student progress, developing individualized plans, and collaborating with families and school teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and teaching certification preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Teach knowledge and skills and provide individualized attention.
• Use assessment data to modify short- and long-term plans.
• Develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Collaborate with team members to foster critical thinking and rigor.
• Apply behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Maintain student growth records and required forms.
• Participate in daily school functions, conferences, meetings, and training.
