Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students with diverse needs in in-district classrooms or standalone schools. You will diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps, collaborating with school teams and families.

You’ll use SESI’s instructional models and PBIS framework, develop individualized plans, and drive student growth while maintaining essential documentation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies to maintain safety.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs and BIPs.
• Drive and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise and monitor students during movement within the school.
