Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher (SPED Teacher) to join our full-time school-based team in Rochester, NH. You will support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs, helping them achieve academic and personal success in an inclusive setting.

You will collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized lesson plans that foster growth, confidence, and achievement, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Indiana Special Education teaching license.
• Knowledge of IE P processes, laws, and best practices.
• Experience working with students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs based on student needs and goals.
• Provide specialized instruction to students with various disabilities.
• Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies for academic growth.
• Collaborate with general ed teachers and related service providers to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families about progress and goals.
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
• Apply evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to meet diverse needs.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements.
