The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SPED Teacher to join our full-time school-based team in Clovis, NM. You will support students with diverse needs, helping them achieve academic and personal success in an inclusive setting.

You will collaborate with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor individualized learning experiences that foster growth, confidence, and achievement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid NM PED SPED teaching license.
• Knowledge of SPED laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with families, educators, and support staff.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement IEPs based on student needs and goals.
• Provide specialized instruction to students with various learning, behavioral, and developmental disabilities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies for academics.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain documentation of student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families about growth and goals.
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal SPED requirements.
