Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District seeks an Instructional Assistant/SPED Personal Care at Shadow Mountain High School to support students with special needs one-on-one, implement IEPs, and report daily activities. This on-site role requires a HS diploma or GED; work is 9 months at 6.75 hours per day, starting immediately.

Salary is $16.99 per hour, with ASRS, paid sick/personal time, medical and optional dental/vision benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certificates required.
• Criminal Background Clearance and DPS fingerprint clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities and materials to reinforce objectives.
• Assists medically fragile or developmentally delayed students one-on-one.
• Maintains daily logs and documents student activities.
• Responds to emergencies and supports safety plans.
• Works under teacher supervision to implement IEP goals.
