Job summary

Ccsdut is seeking an Aide – SPED Resource to support students with mild to moderate disabilities in a Utah classroom. The role focuses on assisting with instruction, implementing IEP goals, monitoring behavior, and collaborating with teachers to maintain a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities include adapting activities, supporting students with health needs, and participating in team meetings and trainings.

• Maintains accurate records of student information and activities.

Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities and materials to reinforce instructional objectives.
• Assist students with disabilities with personal care and health needs as required.
• Implement behavioral or instructional plans from IEP teams.
• Provide individual and small group instructional support.
• Monitor students during classroom and school activities.
• Maintain instructional materials and student records.
• Communicate progress with teachers and support staff.
• Attend meetings and training related to student support.
• Respond to emergencies involving students.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
