Job summary

Ccsdut is seeking an Aide – SPED Resource to support students with mild to moderate disabilities. The role involves assisting with instruction, implementing IEP goals, monitoring behavior, and helping maintain a safe learning environment.

The position is approx. 29 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with duties including adapting activities, supporting health needs, and coordinating with teachers and staff to ensure student progress.

Qualifications

• Follow safety practices and health/safety standards in classroom.
• Operate classroom technology and office equipment.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Adapt activities and materials to support instructional objectives.
• Assist students with health needs and mobility as required.
• Implement IEP plans and track progress.
• Provide individual or small group instructional support.
• Supervise students during classroom activities and transitions.
• Maintain instructional materials and student records.
• Communicate progress with teachers and staff.
• Attend meetings and trainings related to student support.
• Respond to emergencies involving students.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
