Job summary

BASIS Ed is seeking a Special Education Regional Coordinator to oversee SPED programs across Pflugerville and Austin campuses. You will manage testing, IEPs, and compliance for IDEA, Section 504, and EL programs, while supporting school leaders and staff.

Ideal candidates hold a SPED certificate, a Bachelor’s in Special Education, and at least one year of related experience; Master’s is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or 24+ credit hours with other degree.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card and/or state background check.
• Current Special Education certificate valid in relevant jurisdiction.
• 1 year in a role with related special education duties.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the SPED program at school sites under IDEA, 504, and EL.
• Coordinate testing, planning, and implementation of IEPs and related processes.
• Guide and develop general–education teachers on IDEA, FAPE, and accommodations.
