Job summary

BASIS.ed is hiring a Regional Special Education Coordinator to oversee the Special Education program at our BASIS Austin and Pflugerville campuses for the 2026/2027 school year. This role includes managing all aspects of special education, ensuring compliance with IDEA and Section 504, and providing support to students and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in special education, a valid Special Education certificate, and at least one year of relevant experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental insurance and a 401k, is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in special education or related subject matter.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• 1 year in a role with related special education job duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage the student special education process including identification and planning.
• Oversee day-to-day tasks of Special Education Teacher and Assistants.
• Ensure compliance with all State and Federal Special Education requirements.
