Responsibilities include leading IEP meetings, developing academic and behavioral plans, and coordinating with service providers while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Texas Special Education certification required.
• Fingerprint clearance per Texas regulations.
• Eligible for hire in Texas Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct special education services in small groups or one-on-one to meet IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement academic and behavioral intervention plans.
• Write and update IEPs aligned with student needs and state requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to implement accommodations.
• Collect and report progress on IEP goals; maintain data.
• Coordinate itinerant service providers and scheduling.
• Assist in special education evaluations including initial assessments and reevaluations.
• Provide case management and communicate with families and staff.
• Support inclusive practices and differentiated instruction in general education.
