Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 48 college credit hours, an Associate's degree, or recognized ParaPro/WorkKeys credential.
• Minimum two years experience with young children.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States from first day.
• Preferred bilingual capabilities in one of BPS' official languages.

Responsibilities

• Supports direct instruction to children individually, in small groups, and in class.
• Provides assistance with classroom activities and materials.
• Prepares instructional materials for lessons.
• Assists in classroom setup and cleanup.
• Manages behavior following prescribed approaches.
• Supervises students on field trips.
• Performs other duties as requested by Head of School/Principal.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

48 credit hours or Associate's Degree or ParaPro/WorkKeys

2 years experience with young children

Authorized to work in the United States

BPS language fluency (Spanish/Creole/ Chinese/ Vietnamese/ Portuguese/ Somali)
