Job summary

Boston Public Schools Eliot K-8 Innovation in Boston, MA, seeks a Paraprofessional to support SPED inclusion programs for grades K-8. The role reports to the Principal/Head of School and focuses on delivering high-quality educational support in an inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• 48 college credits or an Associate's Degree or passing Parapro/WorkKeys exam.
• Minimum two years experience with young children.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States by start date.

Responsibilities

• Supports direct instruction to children individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings.
• Provides assistance with classroom activities and prepares instructional materials.
• Assists in classroom setup and cleanup and manages behavior per school policy.
• Supervises students on field trips and performs related duties as assigned.
