Job summary

Boston Public Schools seeks a Paraprofessional to assist teachers in delivering a high-quality education program. The role involves supporting direct instruction, preparing materials, and managing classroom activities to ensure a conducive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 48 college credits or an Associate's degree, or passing ParaPro or WorkKeys.
• Minimum of two years experience working with young children.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States by start date.

Responsibilities

• Instructs directly to children individually or in small groups.
• Assists in classroom activities and helps prepare instructional materials.
• Supports classroom setup and cleanup.
• Manages behavior using prescribed approaches.
• Supervises students on field trips.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal/Head of School.
