Job summary

Moffat County High School, part of Moffat County School District RE-1, is hiring a SpEd paraprofessional to support classroom teachers and students. Responsibilities include assisting with instruction, data collection, and implementing accommodations to enable access to learning.

Availability begins August 2026; salary is hourly and based on experience. Position requires working with students in a SpEd setting, collaborating with staff, and maintaining safety and classroom order.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in helping students learn and stay safe.
• Provide instructional support individually or in small groups.

• Monitor students during class, transitions, lunch or breaks.
• Assist with specialized needs (behavior, learning, self-help, communication).
• Help prepare activities and materials for the next rotation or day.
• Other duties as assigned.
