Moffat County High School is looking to fill a SpEd paraprofessional position.
Job Summary: A paraprofessional-Teaching Assistant will assist the classroom teacher in helping students learn and/or stay safe.
Salary: $17.68 - $27.40 per hour - Aide Classified Salary Schedule, dependent upon experience.
Education and/or Experience: Data collection skills, ability to follow direction, flexible, positive, works well with kids and a team, professional.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Student or Students as assigned and needed by teacher.

Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small groups situation to students, staff, parents and administrators.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents and community; ability to speak clear and concisely in written or oral communication.
