Job summary

MORGAN COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT RE-3 is seeking a SPED Teacher Assistant to support students with special needs in a safe, inclusive classroom in Colorado.

The paraprofessional will assist in implementing IEP goals, provide one-on-one or small group support, help with daily living activities, and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote students’ social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

Qualifications

• Assist in the implementation of IEP goals and objectives.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Monitor student progress and report observations to the teacher.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and therapists to support each student.

Responsibilities
