Responsibilities

• Administers first aid and medical assistance as instructed by a health professional.
• Assists students with self-care activities to maintain personal hygiene.
• Attends job-specific trainings for the purpose of acquiring and conveying information.
• Collects data to support teachers and prepare reports or forms.
• Communicates with supervising staff to evaluate progress and implement IEP objectives.
• Implements behavioral plans under supervision to reinforce learning concepts and social skills.
• Maintains instructional materials and records to ensure availability and compliance.
• Monitors students during various school environments to maintain safety and a positive learning environment.
• Provides instruction in varied activities to reinforce objectives and IEP plans.
• Attends meetings and trainings for job function information.
