Responsibilities

  • Guide learning toward district curriculum goals.
  • Create lesson plans aligned with curriculum and resources.
  • Present subject matter per TEA guidelines and district policies.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and use results to plan instruction.
  • Collaborate with teachers to modify curricula for special education needs.
  • Provide accelerated instruction to students meeting at-risk criteria as appropriate.
  • Plan and supervise assignments and coordinate with aides and volunteers.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district policies.
