Job summary

Park City School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant - SPED Complex Needs for a part-time role (32 hours/week) during the 178 contract days of the school year in Park City, Utah. The position emphasizes supervising and instructing students with severe special needs and documenting progress.

The role requires a high school diploma and experience with children in educational settings; experience with special needs is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with special needs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the instructional program within the assigned classroom.
• Assist in supervision and instruction of severely special needs students.
• Observe and document student progress and implement instructional plans.
• Assist students with health care needs as required; follow Mandt System safety procedures when needed.
